Review my devised backup solution.

I have:
1) Working copy
2) Local drive backup
3) Microserver backup
4) Amazon Prime backup
5) Guild of photographers backup (Another cloud option with unlimited. Think it may be cheaper than Prime if you don't have Prime)

Just wish the cloud options did video too...

Seems most have a similar set up

I will have to look at this at this amazon thing.
So you can't just drop files in a folder?

Hopefully I won't fill up 200gb that I have for 2 years that soon. As I'm only putting the best in there

so amazon cloud sync is truely unlimited? I have a few tb that it would be good to find a cloud solution for. It seems to mention only photos, does it work on extensions so it wont allow uploading other files?

If you are a prime member - photos are unlimited, I upload RAW, jpg and CR2. I've uploaded about 330GB / 32K photos up to today.

But you get 5GB free for other files too included, so I upload my XMPs aswell, for 32K photos they only take a few MB to store.

thanks, that is good to know. Do you know if you can upload video files too? Good quite a lot of footage from my dslr now

Video isn't included. Imagine the abuse of the system that would generate.
Going to go with my one drive until it expires

Hope amazon prime includes DNG as a recognised picture type

They do recognise DNG in the photo unlimited quota.

I've just upgraded my drive to unlimited for £40 per year and just sync'd my videos + other files I wanted backed up.
