im looking for a review system kind of like Geek Article and Review System which is for VBulletin

can anyone help me find this for phpbb or e107 or just a stand alone script that i can load onto my webserver cheers

itll only be used for reviewing xbox,ps2,ps3,360,pc,wii,gamecube and whatever other platforms my members would like to review

Do you have any PHP/MySQL knowledge or other server side scripting languages? Would be fairly simple to knock something up :) You'd need a MySQL back end and then a PHP front end to input the info. Just make sure to check what your users input and clean it of anything other than letters and numbers :)
 
How do you want it to work? Do you want it to just be a page where they can select the product, type a review and give it a score? If you give a bit more detail on how you want it to work then I'll try and write something for you :)
 
i want it so users can submit reviews in certain categories

like xbox 360 games
xbox 360 hardware for examples

would also like it so the cover and rating can be added aswell as a small review in text

So you want to allow them to upload images as well? I assume that's what you mean by the 'cover'?

Anyway, I'll try and write something tommorow if nobody else has replied with something that already exists :)

mkportal has a built-in reviews module and works with a variety of messageboards, including phpBB.

Yeah, should be in my trust- feel free to add me if you like :) Anyway, I've pretty much done it now, just wants a bit of tidying up and then hopefully one of the more experienced coders from here will check it over :o

Hmm, could you do it again- I can't see you :confused: Also, any chance you could do without the upload feature because it's something I've not done before and I'm not sure how to do it? Other alternative is to get someone else to add it in after :) I'll try and post what I've done up a bit later if you still want to use it :cool:

ive added you and it shows you as benjamin bunny but it says your offlien :confused:
