Revo64 5 Port SATA RAID 3 and VISTA

I get a really strange thing happening in windows Vista with my XFX Revo 64 RAID 3 setup, After a while (not sure of the exact time) it turns all the hard disk drives on the REVO card off making me unable to access it without resarting, This does not happen in windows Media Center edition which is dual booting.

Is this a Power management thing or a thing in Vista?

Anyone know?

If they're all spinning down together then it points to power management - Vista's power management to be precise. I always have HDD power down turned off, I don't like power cycling HDDs unnecessarily.

I thought it was that but can't seem to find the setting to power down hard drives in Vista, It only gives me 2 choices which are "monitor off" and "system Standby"

Any idea's

I think you have to go in to some sort of advanced menu or create your own power saving profile in Vista, I had the same problem (though not the same RAID card) and that's how I sorted it, though I'm afraid I can't give you more exact instructions as I'm not on Vista any more.
