Rewatchability

Rewatchability is one of bug-bears with the constant stream of remakes Hollywood pumps out. I mean people will rewatch the OG Robocop or Total Recall for decades more but the remakes, whose going to be watching and quoting those in 20 years, no-one! Such a waste.

It's very rare to see a good remake which goes on to be successful, so why spending time/money making a film on that <5% chance?
 
To be honest, while not the best movies.. I find Prometheus and The Edge of Tomorrow very rewatchable..

Some of the Marvel Universe movies are also contenders!
 
I tend to agree most movies created today are easily forgettable tbh.
The movies that I have rewatched countless times aren't even Oscar worthy, they are just fun to watch.
My most watch movie of all time, and I feel embarrassed to say, Is Rockstar with Mark Whalberg, I just love it.
other titles include Highlander, TopGun, Pulp Fiction, Trainspotting ( I was slightly obsessed with it, posters and soundtracks etc)
