rfactor problem

have just downloaded this, and bought the key.

as soon as i start to drive, maybe a corner or two into the drive, it drops back to the menu screen. i thought it was connected to the controller, so i attempted to use the keys, but still get the problem.

anyone else have this problem?

is there a uk based forum for the game?

very strange.

have uninstalled and deleted the folder, and ran ccleaner. currently re-downloading and will reboot before re-installing and see how that goes.

well, thats when i come out of my hypo!

Anyway, all fixed. Uninstalled and re-installed.

i was gonna ask where to get some mods from. i've d/l some renault megane trophy cars and put them in the right directory - how do i use thm?

If they are in the right directory they should appear in the 'racing series' list.

Yeah, Megane Trophy and CDTP 2005 are a must. Gallardo Challange is good too.

Oh, and a G25 helps too

Yep, V8 Supercars kicks major ass, and pretty much all the tracks from the V8 season are on rFactor Central.

Currently running in a league featuring that series and having a blast.

rfactor is really good.

one of the closted sim races you can get, with the right mods.
just bought a wheel down the dump for £3, (low on funds) got a...
microsoft sidewinder + force feedback.

and now its much more fun than a ps2 pad.

It's the kind of game that's as deep as you want it to be. You can have a 10 minute faff, or spend hours adjusting car setups and testing. There's muchos mods, cars, tracks. I'm really surprised more people haven't got this. Mind you, I'm new to it too!
