5V vs 12V is good to know for my next motherboard combo build.
I have basically mentioned basic lights is the phanteks kit and control via MSI Gaming App on windows OR corsair lighting node pro for fancy addressable lights.
I did see an addressable RGB strip for about £18 but the controller is attached to the SATA lead, so there is no "clean" way of routing the remote outside his case, he would need to take off his side panel every time to change anything.
