**RGB EVERYTHING WITH CRYORIG H7 QUAD LUMI AIR COOLER**

Hi

Didn't purchase yet. My mates came for his AMD system. But there are no spacers in the box, they aren't even listed in the instructions for 1151. May be a manufacturing error? Have a look yourself and see if they come in the coolers?

So I just looked into it and the Quad Lumi actually mounts differently than the original H7 and they are not required.

I'll let you know as I'll be fitting one soon. But after looking at my mates cooler there would be movement without the spacers.

If he has the Lumi and not the H7 then they are not needed I just checked and the mounting bracket that goes over the screws will not go past a certain point. So when you put the screws tops on it applies enough pressure to the CPU.

So they cpu takes weight of the cooler?

No the bracket acts like all other brackets in the way that it takes all the weight with enough pressure and connection to the CPU. Please have a look at the review to see have they mounted it.

Installed it and luckily I had spacers from another build. Without them there is too much movement and the top plates come into contact with the motherboard without spacers.

Going by the instructions you then screw the cooler to the plates with two screws. All the weight would have been on the cpu from the cooler

As you say the top plates can only come down so far onto the screw but there's about 1cm of movement.

Hi guys pls help how to attach it on crosshair hero 6. Somehow i cant do it. It h7 quad lumi and on website is it have am4 support but on box of h7 is only am3 and in box isnt anything compatible with hero 6board. I was able to attach it only with mix of original am4 support on boart and 2long screws +plate from h7 box. It was holding on 1-2mm and was looks little dangerous but i tried to turn on. First message was there is problem with cooler so i turned off. Anybody here who can help with this problem?
