Just been watching Tyler's Ultimate on Food Network and saw a cut that I had often wondered about but never really heard much about it. He pan fried a bone-in ribeye and I must say it looked awesome. I had often wondered what a rib of beef joint would be like cut into steaks and I guess this is the result. Pretty sure I saw Rick Stein tuck into something similar on his French Odyssey.

Well a quick google threw up some results for sale in the UK so really must give this a try.

it is tasty but expensive

I suppose not technically cooked on the bone. If you want on the bone, I love t-bone, two steaks in one. Bone does make it harder to cook though.

Yeah have cooked T-bone a few times now and it certainly has a unique flavour. Love the idea of the ribeye on the bone though as it is pretty much my favourite cut.
