Rice Cooker

Lol, I didn't even know you could get rice cookers!

Seriously, just get a decent pan? Would cost less and you could cook other things than rice in it...

Rice cookers are so much easier to use and make egg fried rice taste much nicer than boiling it.

His ex Chinese g/f left it, so it's the authentic way :D

how long does rice take in a rice cooker? i might invest in one.
I have a small one at uni and it takes about 10 min. Shove the rice in there while i prepare the rest of the food and by the time i've finished that the rice is ready.

We've also had one at home for years and it just makes things so much easier. Keep it out of the way and let it do it's thing while leaving the hob for other things. So long as you put in the right amount of water it will come out perfect every time.

I used to use Morphy Richards 3-1. About the best you can really get in the UK, made very good rice but did fid it for hard quite quickly when using the function to keep it warm.
