Rice with curry

Dont think so, almost everyone i know and i would assume most of the uk would associate curry as in being curry and rice together and never separate. This thread is a bit of a surprise tbh that people actually have it without rice which i think would be considered a tiny minority, well if you asked random ppl it would be considered a tiny minority i would have thought.

Grr making me want a curry now and its too late to make one.

All about dat rotli.

I found I actually preferred it with no rice and using the bread to mop up the sauce. Am I the only one who eats it like this or do some of you omit the rice from your Rubies?

Curry is traditionally not eaten with rice anyway so I don't think you are alone :)

It's something that the western world added to the experience themselves.

Usually share a rice and maybe share a nann (unless I want a whole one) and a bit of sagaloo (suddenly like a pregnant woman and craving potatoes with spinach).

A whole thing of rice is rubbish, quickest way to feel bloated, got to mix it up with other things.

I always have rice, I find it's just easier to have a little rice at a time than having a naan and ending up full in 10 minutes, although if it's garlic naan I have been known to make an exception

Normally the GF and I will order two differnet currys which we have half of each, 1 portion of rice and 1 naan split between the two of us. Occasionally we will add a bombay aloo but not always.

Next time we have a curry I may suggest not getting rice at all and trying some other breads :)
