Anyone who is involved with this Fraudster absolutely must demand money up front. They went to Haas after balking at Williams price for a team sponsorship and I guess Haas either didn’t know the going rate or were willing to do a cheap deal just to get some money into the team. That money, I suspect, didn’t materialise,;9 doubt after many false promises and lies told by Mr Storey to Haas.

I hope it's not worth noting that there's not a single Mercedes logo on the MCL35M.

There wasn't one on the Racing Point either though (not even when the paint started to wear).
That is a little unusual, perhaps either Mercedes didn’t want any confusion about their team or perhaps the other teams didn’t want any shade thrown at them for only succeeding due to their engine? Or perhaps teams saying they wanted paid or a discount on the Power Unit supply for space on the car?

My guess is he was just bluffing that he had the money for sponsorship and blagged his way in to being a sponsor with only small investments and then hoped he’d make money from the exposure and then use that to pay HAAS. I’m guessing HASS sussed him out and that’s why it ended how it did.
Presumably he’s managed to get more backing this time and it sounds like he’s blagged someone else to invest in a team so can come in as a sponsor through the back door.

Hopefully he will just go away but I suspect not, he’s like a bad smell.

It's not unusual. Mercedes don't require their customer teams to carry the logo. Racing Point and Williams don't carry the logo either, though George Russell has the 3 pointed star on his overalls as he is a Mercedes young driver.

Williams certainly used to in the Martini sponsored days.

There's a difference between being an engine customer and being an engine customer with a marketing deal alongside it. There's no obligation when you're just buying the engines only.

Happy to not see the vaporware energy drink logo on the McLaren.
