I though you had to star out anything remotely like swearing (ie the whole word as per the FAQ). Its obvious what the ing refers to so I don't think that is particularly worthwhile to the thread.

Well, whatever - just saying

The FAQ probably needs updating or amending, as AFAIK it's been this way for ages. As long as the 'swear' part itself is fully starred, I don't think there's a problem.

Wouldn't be the first time of ambiguity in some rules though

Oh really? So a guy asks about some info on a game he wants to buy, in comes neocon and offers nothing whatsoever (just like he does with EVERY PS3 thread) and as usual disses. He then comes in and admits this. Do you not know the definition of a troll? He does it constantly throughout the whole forum, thworing in comments to purposely stir up trouble, it is called trolling, it is against the forum rules. I don't care if you're a mod, you're wrong.

Exactly, it was a blatent attempt at trolling, but obviously some don't see it, or don't care.

Yes they do, what starts MOST of the bickering is not simple disagreements on game/console opinions but the blatant trolling with comments designed to start trouble. Myself and you have had many differing opinions but never have I seen you intentionally say something to stir up trouble, as far as neocon goes, the opposite applies.

If someone answered the OP question straight away it would have been thread over.He asked if the guy had played it and gave his opinion on the game.

I'm not trying to defend neocon but his question seemed harmless to me.

The OP asked if the tracks were the same, neocon ignored that and changed the subject and said he didn't like it. Then further on he complained that he wasn't allowed to 'diss' a game, in doing so admitting that he did try and 'diss' it. Check his previous posts, he tries his very hardest to cause arguments in PS3 threads.

The only reason this thread ended up in this ridiculous mess is due to troll-hunt we seem to have going on where anything a member known for trolling says is picked to pieces pointlessly by the troll-police.
