right angled hdmi.. Not the usual direction!

does anyone know if I can get a sub £10 2m cable 1.4a hdmi cable that will fit the back of my u2711 monitor

the bottom of the monitor looks like this..

all I can see is the reverse angle

actually do I even need to do this?

I want to send audio from my 6950 gfx card to my av receiver (lossless 5.1 in mkv) and play that via my new 5.1 setup.

I was under the impression that I would also need to send the picture over and this send this back to my monitor via the receiver.

can I send the picture to the monitor via normal display port and audio over hdmi?

I have a right angled cable, can't remember where I got it from now but they are not overly expensive... Ahh just read your request again and I think mine might be 1.3 HDMI

You can get ones with swivel-heads too so you can right-angle it both ways.

I've got one of these don't recall it being very expensive. Got it from a competitor though so can't link to it.
