Basically im going traveling in August so i dont want to break the bank, the minimun spend would be awsome, im ok for gaming with my current card yet the artifacting is now getting beyond a joke.

Iv got a x1900. 512meg. So whats near the same spec as that for the minumum price.

As low as possible, i dont have a problem playing WoW, or EvE online. I just need something to get me by till i go away in august, its starting to show when watching movies and such, its defo Broked! :) i would say my max would be £50squid. But if its possible to get one for less then SUPER!
 
the 8800GT (2nd hand) is the card for you then, as any cheaper and your in low end GPU territory.

new your looking at the or the 3650s which are a fair bit weaker then the 8800GT

That's over £60 including VAT and his budget is £50max.
Unfortunately the 3650 may be your best option if buying new, I wouldn't expect anything stellar though.

Obviously if it was me then I'd rather spend the extra, something like a 9600GT at £75 is WAY faster than all these cheapo cards, but given the budget, options are limited.

Right OK iv just been looking around...is this card say the Best Bang for buck atm? As i would be willing to stretch to £60...but then this got me thinking that if i stay in hthis friday meaning no Beer. But then i suppose this sparks the whole well i could spend just another £20 ad get bla bla ect ect :)

So baring inmind i want to keep costs to a minimun, what is currently the best card BANG 4 BUCK!
 
Memory is dying, its been like that for the past 2 years, small artifacting on screen. Now its just unbarable and it shuts down during play!......Its done its job :)
