Right, I really need to get a few things sorted.

Firstly, my CD/DVD isn't appearing. I have already been into the Registry Editor and deleted the upper and lower bounds, all to no avsil.

Secondly, when i plug headphones it, there is always this low level hum, that was never there before i upgraded my computer.

If anyone has any insight on how to fix these, all help would be appreciated.

That's the computer and the two upgrades. Everything works fine, apart from these two small issues.

Right so you've put in a new powersupply and graphics card? Have you checked the power supply connection the CD drive and the ide/sata connection?

Yes, twice now, and the disk tray still opens, showing it has power.
