Right you lot convinced me - how to gain lean muscle mass with least fat.

Right i'm sick of cutting and there isn't much there when I take my top off at the gym and compare myself to other guys in the changing room. However I got very little mass.

So what's the best way to gain muscle mass but keep the fat to an absolute minimum?

I gym it atleast 4X a week just weights for about an hour. I also do a hell of a lot of running and football but I don't want to stop that because I enjoy it - i'll just eat more.

At the moment i'm eating breakfast - just frosties with milk lol.

Then for my next 3 meals around 1pm - 4pm - and 9pm i'm just eating a can of tuna and pasta lol - i'm eating inbetween too mostly crap like chocolate and stuff but i'll replace that with fruit.

Also I have two protein shakes a day whey protein - one after the gym and one after any cardio I might do in the day.

If I cut out the chocolates is this a good diet to follow for gain lean muscle mass and keep the fat off? I'm very determined and can do anything you guys suggest seriously I do not lack motivation or discipline.
 
Seriously sort your diet out, try the below diet.

Breakfast, massive bowl of porridge.
mid morning, banana,apple,whey shake with fine oats, 50g nuts
lunch, tuna salad, sweetcorn, 2 slices of bread or pitta.
afternoon, wholewheat pasta, 2 chicken fillets,
dinner chicken fillets/salmon etc loads of veg

Comes to around 3000-3500 cals. Frosties are full of crap cut them out, also stop the chocolate. If you need a treat make some home made flapjack or something.
Drink loads of water, train hard, and sleep well. Also you could add another whey shake after you lifting. although i think one a day is enough to be honest.

As for how to gain lean mass- train hard and eat more healthy food. Watch your weight if you don't go up in a few weeks eat more, if you gain too much visible fat then cut down a bit of food. If you put the effort in its just a waiting game.

exactly, get on with the eating then modify your diet as you go.
if you arent gaining, eat more, if you are adding too much fat, eat less.

most of all though..... my sig says it all :p
 
Not sure if I am correct, but if your taking protein shakes, try and do any cardio before you take them(eat anything), otherwise your just going to burn them off doing cardio and are effectively throwing money down the ****er. Your making it difficult for yourself by wanting to gain as minimal fat as possible (these are my aims too) but at the end of the day a bulk should be that, a bulk. Pile it all on, gain maximum mass that you can, then work your ass off on cardio when you cut.
