Why buy a £80k sports car where a vehicle with 4 wheels that cost less than half do the same right?
Some people like to have extra features like recording or remote viewing when half way across the globe. Yes there are cheaper options but this smart door bell can do more than others possibly?
As to answer the OPs question, I personally don't have experience with the Ring Elite doorbell but do you have other plans for integrations with any NAS servers you might have?
