Im in Ireland and I want to ring the number above, iv starred it out for privacy.
Is it a landline or a mobile?

Is there a country code I must enter first to call this number?

07 is a mobile number, not sure if you'll need a country code prefix though (0044 if you do, then drop the first 0).

If you want to ring from Ireland, it's (+44, followed by the phone number minus the initial 0), so 00447xxxxxxxx.

Super quick edit from Otacon there :D, got my info in before I'd clicked submit :(

I tend to store all my numbers on my phone with the full international prefix - in which case it doesn't matter where I am dialing from. ;)

Ditto. It is kinda essential for us poor sods who are abroad a lot.

Same here. Thankfully, when I receive a call from the network it always has the internation prefix. So I just save it. That way, when I'm away it's easy.

Indeed!

Hope madrid is treating you well. Just got back from Palma myself... Off to Antibes next week ;)

Madrid is treating me well, I've drank enough beer and eaten enough tapas to feed a not-so-small army :)

Next week I'll be in Paris for a couple of days, then off to Barcelona so I'll wave in a north-easterly direction :)

The gay and bisexual thread is a couple threads down mate :p

most networks piggyback to the UK first anyway, so dialling 079xxxxxxxxx from your UK network phone should still route.

i think! been a while since i was on the roaming routing project!

You're right it does often work, but not all the time, especially if you're logged onto some obscure network or in the States.
