Riots continue into a fifth day in Sweden

Weeeeeeeeee

There are links between (relative) poverty and social disorder. However I think the point of this thread is to blame the immigrants so I shall bow out and let that continue. :)

It was on breakfast tv on the BBC this morning. As far as I can see and it seems the same across many countries, is uneducated poor people from third world countries move to wealthy countries. Unsurprisingly they are uneducated and poor in a wealthy country and then kick off because they aren't magically wealthy.

When you have well educated people from Poland etc doing menial labour because they can earn more money, its hardly surprising these people don't have opportunities.

The Police in Sweden cannot intervene, they are there to protect the Fire Brigade and gather evidence. Once it quietens down then there will be, I presume, prosecutions. Forces have been called in from other parts of Sweden to help now too.

Also to make people aware Techno Viking is not involved.

Police cannot intervene?

I don't understand the thought process that goes "we riot = makes our lot better" you are more likely to turn the general populace against you and alienate yourselves even further this making a decent living and escaping from poverty nigh on impossible.

Unless their thought process is "bored = smash **** up for fun"

I'm hazarding a guess the majority would struggle to think beyond B, and they are led by the A's. :(

Tbh.. it seems like the same cause as the London Riots - local scumbag gets shot by police while armed and acting like a complete scumbag... all the other scum come out and kick off.

lock them all up and throw away the key.. they may be jobless but are still better off there than their original country of residence yet still want to burn the place down, all because an old man walking around with a knife gets shot..

how will a riot help? animals

-Easier to get away with crime (which can have benefits such as the proceeds from theft) due to law enforcement having stretched resources
-Earns respect amongst your peers i.e. if your crew are all out robbing and smashing things up you may lose credibility if you don't get involved
-General feeling of wellbeing from being part of a movement i.e. mob mentality - like people get when surrounded by fellow football supporters at matches etc
-Draws attention to an issue that you feel would otherwise be brushed under the carpet
-Potentially may lead to government resources being directed to your area i.e. gentrification, projects to stimulate employment etc
-Makes you feel better about yourself i.e. venting pent up frustration and anger

I wish this happened during Melodifestivalen :P

I wouldn't say the Swedes are an overly peaceful people. I see ambulances every evening attending pub brawls and the alike :)

Also here in Boden, Northern Sweden, They have just arrested a guy on suspicion of murder after a 2 week search for a missing women turned up her dismembered corpse.. nice!

Its quite a nationalistic town with 1000s of immigrants dumped here by the govt. and i can feel the tension simmering but people are too polite and outwardly liberal on the subject..

If it kicks off here ill go take some photos, i know exactly were to go lol the "little Afghanistan apartment region.

I think they should be rounded up and any of them claiming asylum instantly deported with all their details recorded, never to return to the EU. Citizens dealt with harshly. They are utterly retarded, burning down their own communities schools and each others cars... Morons

Which all relates to what I said in point B.
