I suspect it's just getting old, but I can't help but feel all the 'character' is slowly disappearing from life. Still, mustn't grumble.

Last time I saw them sing was on Later. It was surprisingly moving, given how frail he looked. RIP Chas.

RIP indeed. My parents used to see them perform all the time in the late 70'2/early 80's around Stoke Newington. Always very nice chaps and even came back to my parents house a few times when they had their impromptu parties after chucking out time.
