Rip Christine McVie

I'm not fishing for condolences here but, as I wrote on Twitter, we buried our Mum today (don't call the Police, she was dead already) and it's been a fairly complicated day. But this news made me forget today's momentous events for a few minutes, which is the greatest compliment I can possible give to such a talented musician.

79 is not a good age when one is 70 already. But Fleetwood Mac going for as long as I recall and with Christine Perfect / McVie filling in those delicious keyboard notes and writing such good lyrics and music for the band. Another unique musician, writer, human being, she will be missed.

What a shame!
Fleetwood Mac are one of those bands that I think "don't really know much of their stuff" then you go through their catalogue and realise just how many fantastic pieces of music they made.

"Legend" is often bandied around for someone who just doesn't deserve it, this lady really was a true legend.

RIP and thanks for the amazing tunes.
