RIP Christopher Lee

It's not even on the entertainment section of Sky News.

Sky News?

Sorry I thought you were looking for reputable sources.

Sad news, grew up watching (or initially being made to watch) re-runs of Hammer films and loved his performances. Rest in Peace.

I think reputable primary sources are a little shaky on this one, hence the absence from BBC. Sky now saying "Horror legend Sir Christopher Lee has died at the age of 93, it has been reported." so they aren't quite talking in absolutes.

Well it's front page of MSN. :p

They've probably been caught out by the time of the announcement, they will be on lunch at the Beeb.

There is much talk about "A list" actors etc.
In my opinion the "A List" is incredibly small, containing only those actors with real class, a real sense of presence, somebody who can not just "steal a scene" but get away stealing the entire movie.
An actor who has spanned the decades and the generations. As happy in horror as he is in science fiction.

That "A list" has lost a member today.

Well said and spot on.
I honestly didn't realise he was in his nineties, a great loss.

Missed this, but you're spot on.

I've just found out he done a power/symphonic metal album called Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross. I've got to give a listen to when I get home.
