Many here will know her from East Enders. But to me she will always be Shirley Brahms from Are You Being Served or one of many characters from the Carry On films.

It's actually started to get a bit alarming that everyone from my younger years is now passing away.

Aww. She had dementia for some time so its not unexpected. So many Carry On films when I was young they were a staple of holiday TV in the 70's. EastEnders... meh.
