RIP Eddie Jordan

Just read it when checking F1 news. I didn't know he was sick! Didn't always agree with his takes, but I liked that in a sea of boring marketing speak he'd just call it as he saw it.

Yeah, although he was looking a lot worst in recent weeks. I think it was something that everyone knew was going to happen - it was just a question of when.

Agree with you on him being a bit annoying too, particularly in recent years. Although one of my favourite memories is that Belgian GP with Damon & Ralf Schumacher and sitting watching it with my Dad and watching Eddie Jordan dance up and down that pitlane in the pouring rain. RIP.

Rip, one of the last true privateers, quite a contrasting character, I quite enjoyed his insights on his and DCs podcast, that growl will be missed!
 
So many great memories of watching jordan back in the day. Who can forget Spa '98.

Yes he knew his onions, what with Eddie, Jackie Stewart and even Bernie Eccleston the sport is losing its big names.
