Phil, his brother.

I remember him very well, both from OCUK, GSV and UOCUK, GFFM etc etc.

A lot of names I recognise in this thread from gaming over the years makes me wish I'd stayed in touch more.

R.I.P. Mate :(

:(

I can't make the funeral :(
I will be in Le Mans... a petrolheads dream.

I shall raise a beer in Jases name.

It's clear to see the amount of peoples lives here that Jase touched.

Live on Jase!!

Just read about this from peoples Msn names as Ive been away the last week so in a bit of shock atm.

All that i can say is that you will never meet a more honest and genuine bloke then Jase and he will be missed by many.

This internet thing brings many people from all lifes together and if you ever had the chance to play/talk with him then you will all know what I am talking about. Would help anyone, anytime that was Jase.

All that i can say is my thoughts are with Jo, his daughters, family and friends.

RIP fella

Paul

To echo the words of all the other ex-cs boys, Jase was tiptop. Never got stressed, would do anything for anyone.

I remember talking on teamspeak, stating that I was struggling to find an a3 printer for my design project. Thinking nothing of it Jase offered to sort it out for me. Emailed him the project, the very next day I had a special delivery with my entire project printered out - full colour, a3, in a protective tube.

We had never even met in real life.

RIP.

I've not posted on the GSV forums as I'm no longer registered since they were rebuilt. But I had been told my Mav about the accident and had looked for a thread on here but didn't see one until now.

The old OcUK cs server spawned a great many online friendships and then real life friends. As with many others I'd never met Jase, nor chatted online with him in a long time. But drop back 5 or 6 years ago and most of us would bounce between the regular servers enjoying the same game with friends until the early hours. He and his wife Jo were always popular on any of the servers. As has been pointed out he was a moderator on here and stepped down as his family and work took priority.

RIP

its stories like this make me have no regrets.... life is to short...

poor guy :(

It's been a great loss for those of us that have become friends with Jase over the years. I met Jase on the OcUK CS server many years ago. In those days we used to live on that server and have some wonderful times. It was during one of these games that I mentioned I was travelling down to Cornwall the next day. And being the guy Jase was he said "pop in on your way past". So I thought "I'll teach him to make a casual offer" and drop in on him we did. We only stayed for a cuppa, about an hour, but we made successive visits and before you knew it we had started GSV and were spending holidays together 3 or 4 times a year. He was my best friend, but he had many "best friends" and we'll all have big gaps in our lives.

I am in the process of collating all the condolences and messages from numerous forums. I know the family have been staggered by the huge numbers of people that his life touched . At sometime in the near future, when the time is right, I want to be able to show them all these messages.

Thanks you for your messages. I have read them all and remember many of you, despite my advancing years ;)

As with many of the posters in this thread I used to play cs for hours with jase, can't say anything that hasn't been said already. A total loss to the world and he will be missed, rest in peace buddy.

lemming/clingy,

Would it be possible if you could please mail me ("pklosowski" at "hotmail" dot "com") Jase's home address (should have it somewhere from attending a memorable Jase house LAN but cannot find it) as I would also like to send my condolences proper as well as online.

Thanks in advance.
