A huge part of my childhood as a Newcastle supporter and one of the true greats of the game.

There was a hope that he would be able to attend the first home game of the season, especially as it's against Liverpool. No doubt Wor Flags will put on something special for him and both sets of fans will give him the send-off he deserves.

Aww if you were a kid in the 70's Kevin Keegan was everywhere football shirts, trading cards, magazines his face was everywhere and every kid wanted to be him. There was a bit of a shock when he left to play for Hamburg but he came back and I dont' think anyone had anything bad to say about him the model player really. Really sad. RIP.
