RIP Kevin Keegan

I can still "feel" the gravel rash he got on his shoulder when he fell off his bike on Superstars. Imagine the clubs of today letting even their backup players risk themselves on Gladiators or whatever the equivalent is nowadays.
 
Very sad news to wake up to. Was a hero of mine as a kid, his testimonial was the first game I ever went to. He injected so much into our club and really knew what it meant to people. Absolute legend.
 
Definitely a sad for all connected to such an iconic figure, my memories of getting into football was during the mid 90s with Keegan as Newcastle manager.

Glad I was at an age I can remember it as part of my childhood. Will never forget that regardless of how successful (or not) Newcastle end up being.

Even the recent cup win will never really truly compete with the nostalgic feeling I have for the mid 90s Newcastle under King Kev.
