omg mate, so sorry to hear, didnt know until that noob dave2k2005 told me and showed me this thread, real sorry mate.

he was a great dog and i think even i will miss him knowing that next time i come round he wont be there to dribble all over my leg again.

soon as i saw this i remembered our old video of him not being bright, but when was he :rolleyes:

but nah mate im really sorry to hear bout that. and a final fair well to that wonderful dog heres the video in his honour

Our dog is on its last legs, and the first talk of him being put down really upset me. Cant imagine life without my dog.

sad news, this is one of the worst things a person can go for. When my last dog dies it was much was than when my Gran died really. Horribly I think I will have to go through the same thing in the next few months, have a 14 YO spaniel.

Sorry to hear that mate, i'll be in the same boat soon with my black labrador Jordan. Has all sorts wrong with him and is about to turn 11, i just hope he makes it, will NOT be good times when he's gone. Again sorry mate, it sucks

I know exactly how you feel but you did the right thing getting him put to sleep. Just remember the good times and i'm sure there are many! 12 years is a good life for a boxer we've not had one live past 9 yet

. Fingers crossed our current one has a good few years left in her (touches wood).

Sorry to hear that chap, know you posted a lot of pictures of him - dosn't look old in the pictures to me so it's quite a surprise (yet again - I don't know much about boxers if anything).

Some of the faces he "pulled" in the photos you posted had me in stitches.

I agree and cats too, you have such a strong bond with them, it may be harsh but I was more upset when one of my cats died than when my Grandad died who I had not seen for a while.

All the best benj, I say rasterbate one of those great photos of Dempsey for your wall and constantly love the memory of him with that mad face.
