Yes, I loved this show. And so look forward to its return.
I frequent Much Wenlock for country pub meals and and love the town. I found that Time Team had dug up one of my favourite places!
The Much Wenlock excavation was I believe Series 1 and episode 4! Waayyy back in 1994. Heck I even walk past the pub and old town market they filmed in! Anyway, its on YouTube and is a gem of an episode...

Hurrah, please tell me Tony Robinson isn't going to be presenting it he was becoming an antagonistic bore by the end. And if Phil Harding isn't there theres no justice in the world!
No Tony Robinson and no Phil Harding but many of the old crew are back, Francis Pryor, Helen Geake, Stewart Ainsworth, John Gater, Chris Gaffney, Neil Holbrook, Matt Williams, Raksha Dave and even the return of Carenza Lewis

Shame
he's probably getting on a bit these days though I did catch a glimpse of him on a piece to TV some reporter was giving a year or so back they were excavating Hougement Farm(?) the place where the Battle of Waterloo was decisively won there were some diggers in the background and I thought "is that Phil Harding.. it is Phil Harding!". Thats a plumb dig if ever there was one.
