After a long battle with emphysema, it emerges today that Richard Briers, aged 79 passed away peacefully yesterday.

A great actor, who will be remembered and missed by a great many.

I watched "Cockneys v Zombies" last week and he was in it. Then I find out he's gone. It's shame.
Even in CvZ he was quite funny. He takes part in the slowest chase scene I have ever seen. Shot like a fast car chase but actually amazingly slow. Down right hilarious.
