I hope you can get through this difficult time with your friends and family beside you, im sure you have been at the very center of many peoples thoughts at some point since you posted on here, mine too, you have my very deepest sympathy.

Could this not be pinned temporarily? It'd be a shame for it to slip off the first page within a couple of hours. We've lost another one of our own, it'd be nice to make sure the fact was acknowledged at least long enough for a decent number of people to realise it.

As for deleting the account, while I can see why this was requested would this not delete all Shifter's contribution to the forums? Maybe better to 'lock' the account instead or something? Just wondered; it'd be a shame to lose his unique contributions rather than to preserve them.
