RIP Sir Patrick Stewart

Been watching TNG clips on YouTube and old episodes on TV, he was such a great captain in the franchise.

Edit - my friend just reminded me of his appearance in Extras, might have to put that on.

Nooo! An absolute titan, and to me, always the first captain I think of when I hear Star Trek.

2026 has been absolute cow so far:( RIP

RIP Captain! Amazing actor, gentleman and had the grace to take the Mick out of himself in the likes of family guy etc. Sad news indeed but time stops for no man.

Oh man! Such a big part of my growing up. Iconic characters played by an iconic actor. Godspeed Sir Patrick, on to the next life...

Oh dear :( so very sad to hear. From David Lynch's Dune to the X-Men series. Of course I'm a huge TNG fan and he made that show and the subsequent films just special with his on screen gravitas and that voice. Always liked the rapport he had with other cast members including Brent Spiner when they would prank or wind each up at conventions. Will be greatly missed.
