respect for him, that guy was a fool, yeha he helped animals out who were injured and things, but some he just harrassed and annoyed

childish and ignorant, haha you must be a fool, have you seen ALL his programmes, and have you seen his earlier programmes, obviously not mate, because you would know he has harrased animals if you had.

Yeah someone at IMDb which is overrun by trolls anway posted an animated gif making fun of him. I'm not gona post it obviously but you can probably guess what it looks like.

first i've seen of this thread, but i can say in complete honesty that i will miss him and i wish things hadn't happened like this. he was one hell of a character. for all his critisisms, he drew a lot of attention to some very important issues.

Can you be any more ignorant? Just because I voiced an opinion on the guy, contrary to most others here, I *must* be trolling. Wake up.

Steve Irwin was an entertainer. His reputation was for acting outlandishly around dangerous creatures. Ultimately you play with fire you are going to get burnt.

I doubt anybody would argue with that, but would you stand next to a tribute to someone who burned to death saying 'Well, if you play with matches...'

Don't think so. Have some respect.

Honestly the way some of you act you make out as though he was a war veteran.

How about instead we spare a thought for the 14 servicemen that lost there lives recently in Afghanistan defending our country.

I don't see a 5 page tribute thread on that ...
lets put things into perspective here. personally i relate to storys like this more than i do about any war/terrorism stories. does that make me a bad person? i'll leave that for you to decide.

because that opens up a whole other bag of worms that i really dont want to get into again

Well none of us knew the servicemen that were killed, certainly they were heroes but we know hardly nothing about them so it is harder to relate to them, it's not that we don't care, may they rest in peace.
