That’s so sad. Fantastic drummer and musician. I’ve just finished Dave Grohl’s book and I know how close they were. I know he had his issues in the past but 50 is no age at all.

I was lucky enough to watch them live a few years ago, was one of the best live shows I have seen. Hawkins also did a great tribute to Queen at the half way mark from what I can remember. They always seemed so close together from all their shows and interviews. I wouldn't be suprised if it means the end of the foos

I personally think they’ll do a one off gig with various drummers like Linkin Park did then call it a day.
