umm just wondering, ive just followed the guide on how to set up the fan profiles with my 8800gts and everything is working smooth... i am just wondering if the monitoring has to be enabled and riva tuner still running (i.e. in sys tray) for the profiles to work or will it be in the registry so the card will do it automatically? maybe a a silly question to some but i am un sure as i did set just one constatnt profile to run at startup at 45% and i have to "run blocked program" at every start up or the speed stays at 45%, so can my new profiles be run liek this or does riva need to be open.... if that is the case how can i make windows run it automatically with out me having to run blocked program but not disable the UAC thingy

ok now i have just upgraded to 2.09 but didnt save my fan profiles... ive just tried to re-make them but it doesnt show up the threshold option in the hard ware mon options :| any idea how to get around this, also ive set it to start on start up because i guessed it had to be running for the profiles to work and monitior the temp, but everytime i start i get the "riva tuner is trying to start: cancel/ allow" option, cant i just set it to remember to run it?
