Hi

Im using riva instead of ati for fan control

however when ati is in taskbar it shows me an active gpu temperature actually in digits in the taskbar......riva does not do this.

is there any way of getting riva to replace its red button logo with a temperature readout

OR getting ati tools to run aswell in taskbar but not affect the overclocks controlled by riva ?

ATi Tool shouldn't effect the overclock if you don't tell it to.

For ATi Tool to affect overclocks automatically you have to save overclocks, voltage settings etc to a profile and then enable detect 3D applications for it to load the profile you want for 3D performance.

Just running it should be fine and shouldn't affect clocks.

Rivatuner can record temps in realtime as you bench or game, you need to drag the pointer back over timeline to see max temps at a given time, I dont think it can show temps in notification area though, you could leave Everest open and it will tell you temps then run Rivatuner

Hmm, throw the dog a bone, can find "send to tray on close" but nothing for temps in tray :confused:

go to hardware monitoring

select core temps in the bottom box

then go to settings and then select nvidiaprobe and then click show in try, or tooltip, whichever you prefer

Its very small and black, wonder if font can be changed.
