RIVE Black Edition and 3970X

Just found out my new RIVE BE is on the way and I want to use my 3970X in the board. When it comes to settings is the Black Edition much the same as the RIVE to use. I will also be using a set of the Dominator Platinums as well.

I have four 290Xs to run on it so I need to get the most out of the CPU.

The C9 2400mhz 16gb (4 x 4gb) ones.

With SB-E they will do 9-11-11-25 1T 96 @2500mhz, I will probably be using my 3970X CPU but I also have a new 4930k which I may give a try. The 4930k should be interesting with the Dom Plats.

I am only just starting to build the PC now, I have had problems with a dodgy 900D case but that is sorted now.

not exactly the same as the bios for r4be is a little bit of raw at this moment. R4E is the most stable x79 mobo from asus right now.

4 290x, I heard it's as noisy as jet engine when they are under load.

Fortunately I have a pile of waterblocks and backplates I can fit to them when I am ready.
