Don't wish to break any forum rules, but looking for a an RJ45 tester as part of my toolkit.
All I need is to test for,
Pin outs ie, wrong, patch or crossover
Live sockets, (and maybe power over ethernet 50/50)
Don't need any other conections etc and the ones I've seen are £60+ - found some cheap ones but one had a warning not to use on live networks, the thought of blowing a £300 switch is not good.
Anything else I've missed or any brands to look for.
