I have a run of Cat6 that I am trying to cable up at the moment. I have crimped both ends and tested OK with a cable tester. However when I plug into my switch, it causes all of the activity lights to flash really quickly and network response goes down the toilet.
Any suggestions as to what the problem might be or do I need to re crimp both ends?
I tested the cable prior to installing it (it had RJ45's on it already which I had to cut off) and it worked fine.
