rjkoneill - to the rescue!!!

obviously it depends on how busy we are and what the RMA queue is like
if there is a large queue on testing then it can take a few days but most of the time testing is completed within 24 hours depending on the item

if you remember you had to sort it for me , not sure what happened with my mobo lol . but in the end you were a star and replaced it with a better board :)

It seems the RMA service is a bit hit or miss.

Some great comments on it today, but I sent my overclocked bundle back on RMA nearly two weeks ago, several phone calls to chase up and it still hasn't even been looked at.

I'm using my works computer for this stuff!

EDIT : Just had an email to say that the RMA has been shipped today. I assume there's documentation explaining the fault in the parcel.

Thanks!!!

the fault description will only be provided if anything special has been done.
two weeks on a bundle turnaround doesnt seem right.
unless we had to wait for parts:rolleyes:
what was the order number?

i7 950 and it is watercooled ;)
the fault wasnt overclocking related.

at least thats what i told intel ;)

I returned a mobo for RMA last week, posted midday mon and delivery was attempted on wednesday!
Shame it wasn't that at fault and ive had to return mobo, CPU, RAM and HDD today but hopefully will be resolved with the usual OCUK speed.

Refund my postage cost eh? Its up to £13 so far and about £15 in calls.
Maybe you could offer a call back service for the more difficult problems that require numerous calls. I must have spent 30-40 mins on hold now.

:)

Have to say that I've never had a problem with OcUK turnaround and support. IMHO it's easier to buy everything from them since if there's a problem, I don't need to hunt around and find who I've ordered from this time, what their RMA procedure is, are they customer focused etc. Given the price differential on components is rarely more than 5% (and sometimes in OcUK's favour), I see it as paying for service, which is more than worth it to me.

The simple answer to the calls is www.saynoto0870.com which will give you a non 0870 0871 alternative and saves you being stung listening to what can only be described as suicide music!
