Okay this is what happend 6 months ago. My 4870x2 went wrong. I sent it back and then they sent a 4870 back as a replacment... i sent it back.. and 4 weeks later i recived another 4870 .. i told them once again this was nowhere NEAR good enough and that i wanted an equal replacment. they ended up sending me a 5850 (didnt matter as i sold it and got a 5870 on overclockers in a sale :D ) anyway they told me to keep the 4870 and return it when i recived the 5850.... well as i have had a lot of money problems :( i never had chance to pay the £10 (yes money has been THAT bad) to send it back... well its 6 months later and i STILL aint recived an e mail, phonecall etc saying to send it back. From what they put in there e mail (about sned it back when i reicved it) they didnt seem that botherd about having it back that quick... Anyway this is my question!!

Should i just sell the 4870?... if they ask for it i could allways say i sent it bakc months ago and thought they recived it. I know its a bit cheeky lol and im sure a lot of you will think bad but... hell why not! :( what do u guys think? Like i say its been 6 months nearly and havnt heard a peep out of them :(... Also the woman on the phone was VERY rude and i heard her tell her supervisor i was being rude and hostile >:( (I swear to god all i said was i had recived another 4870 and i sent them a 4870x2 hardly hostile) when she came back on i told her what i had heard her say. to which she replyed "Im trying to help you, i... i...i just told her that (supervisor) so she can help you faster.. lol! Oh well..what do u all think?

P.s its a vapour 4870

Tbh i'd be reeeeaaaaalllllyyyy tempted to sell it. That said the 'right' thing would be to return it. What ever you choose i wont judge :D

If it is a fault with the card then why should you pay to send it back and why does it cost a tenner ? ukmail does packages for £6

They said when i sent the first 4870 back they wanted it sent by courier. cheapest i could find that had enough insurance was DHL which was 8.99+ vat:( I did actully ask for them to pay postage but all i got was it wasnt in there policy -_-

I'd sell it. If you want to sleep at night though send them an e-mail that you still have it and that you'd be happy to have it collected by their courier where they cover the costs. I doubt if they can force you to return it at your own expense as it is their mess up and so much time gas passed.

If you don't get a response in a timely fashion then sell it.

Sounds about right, its not your responsibility to pay for it, when it was their mistake that put it in your possetion. If they want it back enough, they will pay.
