RMA packaging

Cardboard box should be fine, or even plastic if you have any the right size. All the HDDs I've bought in the last year or so have come in plastic boxes that were wrapped with bubble wrap, only my laptop drive came in an anti-static bag.

Not sure where you could buy any though as I always keep the packaging I'm afraid.

I know with Seagate is has to be in a cardboard box with foam packing. If they receive it with bubble wrap they will not allow the rma according to the website.

Pretty sure the manufacturer website will state clearly the details of the packaging.
