rma question

hi all :)

has any1 ever sent back there gfx card for an rma,waited for an replacement then got a better card in return free of charge?
 
cause i got an email back from another website today saying theyve replaced my 7900gs and ill be recieving a EVGA GeForce 7950 GT KO 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI card for free :dd
goto be better then this 7900gs?

is it true though the drivers for this card aint very good?
ve read on guru3d ages ago about driver problems on these cards?
 
I thought the drivers were exactly the same for all 7 series cards? When you chose your graphics card on nvidia.com it says "Geforce 7 series" or something similar!
 
You should have complained and requested they swaped your second 7800 for a 7900 as you bought 2 to run in Sli and now you cant ;)

i havent recieved it yet and only just got the email so hopefully if i get it tommorrow ill ring them up straight away and try sneek an 8800 out of them :d
 
Well i few months ago i sent my x1800 GTO, back to HIS, and they an x1800GTO right back to me.

They RMAed it, and it was fine, but i was hoping that i would get a newer card. :(

In the end, i needed money, so i sold it, and stuck with my 6200LE :D
 
sorry to post it here but could some1 find me a good review of the 7950 gt ko 512 mb gfx card please i cant find 1 anywhere :(
