RMA's? with hard drives

Basiclly got a laptop from someone not that old then sold it on with out the hard drive cus the hard drive is dead. well works but its faulty sometimes as i just tested it today. how do i go about sending it back can i just send a hard drive back to the people who owned it cus i looked all over toshiba's web site and cant find a RMA anywhere

Anyone help me out?

If this was bought as part of a complete system I believe that its warranted by the system OEM. So you best get hold of the system manufacturer.

there should be a service code on the bottom of the laptop just ring the local tosh service center ( no should be on their web site ) and quote the number they should tell you what you need to do

yep do the above with the hdd in front of you and they will ask you a few quesitons

its the service code on the laptop not the one on the hdd with that one they will tell you its OEM contact Tosh

he needs service from tosh for the whole laptop

hehe basiclly u need the laptop or the 80gb hard drive is worthless
