wondering if theres ever going to be a remake of this amazing game,


for me this is one of the all time greats that would be a great game on the hew gen consoles(iirc was this not an ea title if so must be the only franchise that they've abandoned :( )

would be amazing on the 360/ps3/pc with modern graphics and some online play :) maybe even start some biker gangs

something along the lines of a full island aka TDU then just mad rampant violent biker fun


och if only
 
It really held my attention.

When I was 5. I played it recently and it seemed pretty dull.

We need a 2D remake of Dynamite Heady, thats what!
 
Was a totally fun and addictive game in its day, but thats where it should stay. I dont think any remake can live upto the sentimental feeling people have towards the first great games they played. These games you see now on xbl make me think omg I loved this game and now its ruined as it can never match how i remembered it.
 
It seems like such an obvious title to remake, so I can't think why it hasn't been done!!

Many, many wasted hours spent on Road Rash over the ages......

I have been playing it recently on EA Replay for PSP (so it is an EA Game). It still kicks ass and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't normally like retro gaming either!

ha haaaa of course - it's so obviouse now... multiplayer Road Rash would be amazing.

Didn't they make a Road Rash 3D which completely flopped?

I always post this story but I am going to do it again.

Does anyone remember when you smashed your bike up so much that it had smoke from it, which meant if you tried to get back on it would blow up? Well, this happened to me once, and to save the cash of paying for a repair (as I had no money) I ran the last 16 odd miles of the race. Obviously I came in last but I didn't have to pay for a bike repair.

A remake would be awesome. Would almost be like a Burnout game on motorbikes...WITH RAGDOLL!
 
It wouldn't work multiplayer. If you come off your bike you'd never catch anyone else up. The old game would let you catch up the other riders straight away.

Great game :) Still play it on my PSP
 
I'm not sure about Road Rash, never really did like it.

Saying that, I don't really like the rash I have now, but I don't think the mods would appreciate any further delving into that department.

Burnout does it quite well. Plus if you had a health meter then that would add another dimention to it, not just a punch and off you go.

Customization would be good and weapons + crashes would look fantastic with now-a-days physics

Road Rash on the N64 was a great version.. it looked a bit pants even for N64, but if you looked past that is was fantastic.

Plus it work great in multiplayer just had a lot of catch up so the rases were always close finishes evn if you fell off a lot.

Worth picking up :) I think THQ killed off and sold the Road rash brand shortly after.. not sure who too but its unlikely you'll see a "road rash" title again. sorry all.. But burnout is a pretty clsoe clone..

you have to remember bike games dont sell anywhere near as well in the america. .so people are put off by it. Which is why games like Full auto and burnout have a similar theme but with cars.
 
Road Rash was an awesome franchise and would love to see someone resurect it.

who cares in the americans dont like bikes :p
 
It'd be great to have a new version for the 360/ps3. Anyone remember the black bike on road rash 2 which you could only get by typing in the cheat at the start. Now that was fast! Sadly my game could not be completed due to a bug which caused the game to freeze when racing the cops.
 
damn i want a remake

want to beat people in leathers with big chains for my pleasure and amusement :)
