Bought some pork today for cheap in the super market to make sarnies this week.

Roasted it for a good 75mins (around 1kg, sholder joint).

Took it out and let it rest on the side but didn't check to see if it was cooked (i'm not sure why i didn't, i normally would)

Just come to cut it up and its a bit pink and bloody.

Is it ok to eat or is there anything i can do with it now ?

Thanks

I've had pork cooked slightly pink (even though it freaked me out a little bit) in a restaurant but shouldn't still be bloody.

Nuke it in the microwave, if you're only wanting it for sarnies.

I usually eat my pork chops quite pink and juicy. I wouldn't worry about worms unless it's really really raw. Stick it back in the oven for another 30 mins to see it through. It's a bit nicer in sarnies when it's well done :)

Cheap pork = hours in oven low say 140 - 150

Cooked today 1/2 kg piece of pork belly 140 for 3 hours, it just fell apart after resting with nice crackling on top.

Pork that pulls apart is great in crusty rolls with coleslaw
