Rob Zombie - What?

On my break at work at the moment so no sound but will listen to it when I get home.
I've quite liked his stuff since I first heard his Dragula remix on Sled Storm for the PS1 which was an awesome game.

I like White Zombie as well but I've never seen them live :(

Been a White Zombie fan since forever, Astro Creep 2000 was the soundtrack to most of my teenage years.

I heard that at a friends house when I was about 19 and loved it. So I went to my local HMV to buy a copy. Unfortunately they didn't have it, so I bought "La Sexorcisto" for £17.

Got home, listened to it.... Then proceded to rage about how much money I wasted and never listened to White Zombie ever again. :)

WZ - amazing, different band at the time there was nothing else like them.
Always remember readng a story in RAW magazine about a US girl who got expelled from school for wearing a WZ t-shirt. Seen them live twice, okay to the point of good show. Sean Yseult and J very good at what they did and really made Robert Cummings :p.

Rob Zombie however, terrible, off the scale bad. Slated the whole band (and previous members) who made him. Took the downtime that WZ had to become cult in the metal scene, left the rest for dead and got a contract on the collective hard work as by that time WZ were no longer cult.
Shows no real desire to make any good music any more (granted it's all personal opinion here), I absolutley hate listening to anything he's done solo, always have, I leave the place I'm drinking in and go for a smoke until the song is done.

Irony is that the missus loves him, to the point that I spent a small fortune so she can go and see Robert Cummings on Sunday. So I guess he's got one up on me. Just like a lot of artists these days just do it all for the cash. Enjoy my cash, I'm so glad the missus has a friend to go see him with, I'd rather chew tin foil.

By the way, I went looking on blabbermouth as this topic somes up a lot and guess what? It's the latest headline. Thanks Blabbermouth, saved me a search!

When asked what her relationship with Rob was like now and how she thought he'll feel about the book, Yseult said, "He hasn't spoken to any of us for years — his choice, not ours — so I have no idea what he thinks of this book. After his solo record, the press asked him a similar question in regards to me and J., and he responded with a rather negative retort, 'I don't give a rat's ass.' I guess I would have to return the sentiment if he had any issues with the book, really. I have no idea if he will like it or hate it or just ignore it since I decided not to 'let sleeping corpses lie,' as he seemed to have wanted with the box set.

I went to the gig on the 16th at the brixton academy for his opening night in the uk.

seriously.... words cannot describe how fricking awesome it was!. totally bloody mindblowing!. Skindread were good too before he came on.

and this is probably really sad of me but i dont care, i bloody touched the man himself!, was at the front left of the stage and he came round and right infront of my group he got up on the barrier with a searchlight to look around the crowd. managed to pat him on the back while he was there.

sooooooooo awesome!...... the amount of props they used in the show was totally bloody brill aswell ;-) tho having silver baloons rain down from the ceiling on his last song was a bit wired... and bubbles?.... 0_o

Manchester gig was cracking, only after superbeast though, up until then he was missing lines, hard to tell if he didn't remember them or was struggling, but seemed to be fine after superbeast.
