RIP - This one hits hard, my favourite role of his is the same he picked himself, Augustus McCrae in Lonesome Dove, the best western I've ever seen.

Lost some cinema greats in the past year, Redford late last year, and now Duvall.
Both 2 of my favourites and watched so many of their movies repeatedly over the years.
These guys were special, they were in great movies and even the few movies that were not so great they elevated them due to the immense screen presence they had.

So many movies, Days of Thunder being a fav.

[Purgatory]

Doesn't this forum have Robert as one of the avatars? would have been cool to have been Robert for a day.

RIP legend. I don't know how many films I've seen with Robert but one that always sticks in my mind is Falling Down as Prendergast.

That sounds a good idea. Maybe one of the mods could do it for a day.

It does but rare to see as a user needs 150000+ posts to use it.
