.... Are so good. For some reason I can't get enough of them. Paramore, Cruiserweight, and now Miss Conduct have taken up my listening time recently.

Arch Enemy, awesome band with a woman who can growl better than most
guys

If you like the Yeah Yeah Yeah's give Be Your Own Pet a listen (if you havnt already). The songs are pretty short but theyre full of a lot of energy, they also play a pretty good live set...

Have a listen to the now sadly defunt Tsunami Bomb very good especially a track called "Take the Reigns"

Also while not a Band with a permanent female lead get yourself a copy of a track called "Nymphetamine" by cradle of Filth it features the vocals of Liv Kristine, the lead singer of Leaves Eye's & it's pretty darned good too.

The Donnas are alright for a giggle although they get a bit dull after about half a song.

Guano Apes are wicked.
1905 are a melodic hardcore band, DC style, with a male and female vocalist, the female's got a great voice imo.

Local band down here called iron guard have a female singer. They have a page on myspace but I won't link as some people have left swear words in the comments. It's a pretty obvious address though.
