Rock bands with female singers

i know everyone has their own tastes, but god i hate that band


not overly keen on female singers, the only song that jumps to mind that i like is

Korn + Kittie - This Town

Okay, now usually I'm a firm believer in subjective opinion, each to his own, not claiming that something is rubbish just because I may not like it etc and so on, but this is just awful.

It starts looking like it could be right, begins by sounding like it could be right, but it soon just becomes everything that is wrong. The whole thing looks like record company packaged 'genre and influence' at it's most banal. Is all current Japanese (they are Japanese yes?) rock this painful?

It's like they took one of those songs Jackie Chan used to have at the end of his movies in the 80's / early 90's, and just threw in a nu-metal guitar amp or two. Add a half decent producer and a fit chick on vocals, and you have . . . well, 3 minutes of my life I'll never get back, that's what.

There's even a brain meltingly horrid chorus key change near the end. And that whoa whoa chorus? What's that?

Banja - that's not nu-metal...there's a lead!

*n (a firm believer that there are actually one or two good nu-metal bands...)

i'm not a big fan of HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, i just posted it because it was the first rockband that came to mind with a female singer.

Used to listen to them a few years back. Although they were a bit coarse they certainly could rock with the best of em
